Music Ideas & Options

As a professional Wedding Singer, I make sure to offer you a wide range of musical services to suit your unique needs and provide customizable choices you're sure to love.

After all it is your Wedding Day and I want to make your event a success with live music your guests won’t soon forget. It is important to me that the songs I perform, suits both your personal taste and that of your guests.

I thoroughly enjoy entertaining at Weddings and would love to hear from you about the plans and ideas you have for yours.

You can trust me to guarantee the entertainment at your event runs smoothly. Check out some of the different ideas and options I offer below...

Exchanging Rings

The Icing on the Cake

Let's start the day off with me Performing some background

music while your guests make themselves comfortable for the

Brides big arrival. Maybe a couple of the Grooms favourites

here to help calm the nerves?

Then let the Bride choose one of her most favourite and

meaningful songs to be sung live as she walks down the aisle

with her Bridal Party. Timings for when page boys, flower girls,

bridesmaids and of course the bride entering the ceremony will

all be discussed in a planning session nearer the time so that

the entrance runs smoothly.

Choose 2 or 3 songs for me to perform at the signing of the

register. These can be songs that have struck a chord with the

bride and groom during the time in their happy relationship

together (the "this is our song" type ones). Something a little bit more romantic, happy and meaningful is perfect for this part in the proceedings.

To finish the Ceremony in style I'll perform your "Exit" song as you leave the Ceremony room/venue hand in hand together as Husband and Wife. Now is the time for something a bit more upbeat/uplifting with your guests in high spirits ready to cover you in confetti outside.

Steve Michaels Wedding Reception Singer Post Ceremony Leeds Yorkshire

Just warming up

This is usually that period of time during a Wedding Day when your guests aren't quite sure

what to do with themselves. While you are busy being whisked off to capture the necessary photographic moments it might be the last thing on your minds, but your guests are standing around trying to make small talk with people they might just be meeting for the first time (and all this before any drink has had a chance to kick in).

Let me take care of things in my own unique way. Singing background music to create just the right ambience, whether it be inside at the bar or outside on the terrace in the sunshine. Wherever you feel is the best location for your guests to mingle, grab a glass of Prosecco, enjoy a canapé and let their hair down.

I will perform a mixture of feel good music, spanning all the different genres, making sure there is something for everyone, whether they are 18 or 80. Performing Live music that everyone knows and loves, that will keep your guests feeling involved and happy carrying that feel good mood  right through into the Wedding Breakfast.

Start as you mean to go on

This is one of my most popular and frequently requested package types.

Who said Wedding Breakfasts always have to have the same boring ipod soundtrack provided/played by the hotel/venue usually through a PA System that has seen better days?

Let me perform your Wedding breakfast music live. Let's wait till desserts are out and people have been enjoying the Champagne and finish the Wedding Breakfast with a little Sing Song and a cheeky Dance shall we? Imagine your Wedding guests getting involved with some great sing a long numbers, doing the conga line round the room and generally having a great knees up, leaving them insatiable for the Evening Reception still to come.

Steve Michaels Wedding First Dance Sung Live

The Perfect Way to Remember The Perfect Day

Instead of letting the DJ play your first dance song like everybody else,

why not choose something a little bit more personal and special?

After all I'm here to help you create those special memories you will be talking together about for years to come.

Michelle Bingham (quote from my facebook page) - "I will never ever forget how amazing you sang our first dance. Such a special moment for us and I couldn't have asked for it sang more perfect as you did"

I just love to sing the First Dance song at Weddings more than any other part of the Big day and feel privileged to be asked to perform at one of the most romantic and meaningful moments of the day! Get in touch with me now to

discuss your special First Dance song. I'm more than happy to learn new songs if they are not currently part of my extensive repertoire.

Ask me about having your first dance song professionally recorded after your wedding day to keep forever. Better still why not let me sing a video recorded version in the Studio?

Let's get this Party Started

This is where I truly come into my own. As a born

entertainer I'll have your guests on the dance floor from

the very first few songs.

You can pick from a large selection of songs that I know

"work" at Party time, meaning that the music at your

Evening Reception is to your taste.

I have extensively also worked as a DJ and if I can offer

you one invaluable piece of advice for your Wedding

Evening Party from my own personal experience; it

would be to have some form of live entertainment and

not just rely on a DJ only. Please don't rule this out

straight away due to budget, it is actually more

affordable than you may think - try me!

Live entertainment is definitely the way to keep more of

your guests on the dance floor as there is more interaction, which means they feel more involved!

Add an element of fun to shock your guests

I will blend seamlessly in with your chosen venues Catering Team (through prior contact with your venue) posing as a real member of staff. Wearing the same uniform and serving from the front line (being as hands on as your venue will allow) building up a great rapport with the unsuspecting guests.

Announcements are then made using one of the various tried and tested scenarios (a dropped tray or my last day at work) for the reveal usually around the time of coffee and desserts and then I'll burst into song.

Performance time is approximately 30-40 minutes, which means none of your days timings need be altered or affected in anyway. I have the perfect repertoire of feel good songs for this section and you can pick from there exactly the ones you want to hear
